We are thrilled to share with you the release of our latest endeavor: 2023 Safe Spaces Report for Survivors of Sexual Violence in Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Communities. This report represents a culmination of extensive research, collaboration, and advocacy aimed at redefining what safe space within the context of sexual violence means to survivors and their communities.
In the pursuit of creating environments where API survivors feel validated, supported, and empowered, the report delves into critical insights gleaned from interviews with nine community-based organizations across the United States and American Samoa. Through these conversations, we have gained invaluable perspectives on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by survivors, particularly within Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities.
